2 400g. cans of Valfrutta Chickpeas 1
350g. bottle of Valfrutta Smooth Tomato Sauce
1 carrot 
½ onion 
1 celery stick
1 spoonful of raisins
1 packet of saffron 
a pinch of cumin
extra virgin olive oil 
salt and pepper

Preparation:

Sauté the chopped celery, carrot and onion in a casserole in a little oil. Add the tomato sauce, saffron, currants and cumin. Simmer for 3-4 minutes over a low heat and add the chickpeas. Salt and pepper and cook for a further 2 minutes.
