Baby Lentils - The Classic Dishes range

Premium Baby Lentils: small and green with a yellow seed lobe, baby lentils are full of protein and contain very little salt. They remain firm after cooking and are perfect in creamy soups, on their own or mixed with pearl barley and other cereals, and also to accompany meat and fish.

Preparation:

Slice the onion and sauté in a casserole with a little oil and thyme. Add the vinegar and leave it to evaporate. Add the lentils and 1 litre of water and bring to the boil. Lower the heat and cook for 40 minutes until the water evaporate: if necessary, raise the heat at the end to dry it completely. Salt and pepper to taste and garnish with a little oil.
