Tomato, runner bean and ricotta cheese flan

Ingredients

1 400g. can of Valfrutta Runner Beans
1 spoonful of 350g. glass bottle of Valfrutta Smooth Tomato Sauce
250g. of ricotta cheese
2 spoonfuls of grated Parmesan cheese
1 tomato
1 teaspoon of oregano 
salt and pepper

Valfrutta Runner Beans are so tender and delicate because they are carefully selected and canned on the same day, to retain their natural flavour and freshness. A natural source of protein, they are ideal served simply with a small amount of oil, salt and lemon, or perfect to enliven and add a dash of colour to traditional second courses or mixed salads.

Smooth Tomato Sauce

Valfrutta Smooth Tomato Sauce has a fresh, delicate and simple flavour, since it is made from only fresh Italian tomatoes. It contains no seeds or skin, so it is smooth and creamy and perfect for any dish.

Preparation:

Place the ricotta in a bowl, add the tomato sauce and cheese and mix together thoroughly. Drain the runner beans, finely chop them and add them to the mixture. Pour into 4 greased aluminium moulds and decorate with a slice of fresh tomato. Sprinkle with oregano, salt and bake in the oven at 200° for 15'.
