Tuscan-style soup

The very best of Tuscan tradition, in a rich and full mix which combines the tenderness of pearl spelt with the strong flavour of mixed beans and chickpeas. With its low fat content and all the protein and fibre it contains, Valfrutta Tuscan-style Soup makes healthy eating tastier.

Preparation:

Boil 1 litre of water in a casserole and add the Tuscan-style Soup. Salt to taste, cover and cook for 40 minutes. During cooking, cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place them in a bowl with the thyme, oil, salt and pepper. Cut the bread in half and toast in a pan or in the toaster. Serve the soup with the toast covered in the cherry tomato and thyme mixture.
