Light Soup

A cheerful and highly coloured soup, with all the sweetness of green peas, big azuki beans and the nutrients of brown rice. Valfrutta Light Soup is full of fibre and a source of phosphorus, with a low salt content. Phosphorus assists normal energy metabolism. It also contains 30% less fat than the most widely sold dried soups* (see Comparative Table). Simple and delicate, Valfrutta Light Soup makes healthy eating tastier.

Preparation

Wash the product thoroughly. Cook without soaking: place the product (250 g) in a pan, add 2 litres of water (warm) and, if you wish, add celery, carrot and onion. Boil them for around 40 minutes. Salt when cooked. Cook after soaking: reduce cooking times by soaking for at least 8 hours in 1 litre of water. Drain and then cook as described above, reducing the cooking time to around 25 minutes.
