1 400g. can of Valfrutta Garden Peas, picked and canned on the same day
1 roll of puff pastry
2 tomino cheeses
1 coffee cup of milk
nutmeg
1 egg
salt and pepper

Garden Peas, picked and canned on the same day

Valfrutta Garden Peas are tender and sweet, because they are picked and canned on the same day. Delicious and natural, they are full of protein and fibre, for a healthy and balanced diet. Their size makes them ideal as a side dish or perfect in soups.

Preparation:

1 - Place the milk and the pieces of tomino cheese in a small casserole and melt gently.
2 - Add the peas and crush with a fork to mix them, salt and pepper to taste and add nutmeg. 

3 - Unroll the puff pastry and cut of the edges to make a square. Cut into 4 smaller squares and place the pea and cheese mixture in the centre of each.
4 - Make small cuts in the pastry with a knife and pull to obtain a mesh to seal the puff pastry. Brush the surface with egg and bake in the oven at 200° for 20'.
