1 350g. glass bottle of Valfrutta Smooth Tomato Sauce
300g. of precooked couscous
100g. of Brie
1 small bunch of basil
salt and pepper

Smooth Tomato Sauce

Valfrutta Smooth Tomato Sauce has a fresh, delicate and simple flavour, since it is made from only fresh Italian tomatoes. It contains no seeds or skin, so it is smooth and creamy and perfect for any dish.


1 - Bring 4 dl. of water to the boil, sprinkle in the couscous.
2 - Remove from the heat and leave to cool. In the meantime, cut the Brie into small cubes and place in a bowl, add the tomato sauce and the finely chopped basil.

3 - Grease 4 aluminium moulds and fill them with the couscous, leaving the centre empty.
4 - Fill with the dressed Brie and cover with the remaining couscous. Bake in the oven at 200° for 15'.

Brie cheese has a high fat content, so it might be better to use lighter cheeses, such as crescenza or stracchino.
