100g. of water
1 sheet of isinglass
extra virgin olive oil
sea salt

Smooth Tomato Sauce

Valfrutta Smooth Tomato Sauce is available in a 350g. glass bottle three-pack.


Soak the isinglass in a little water for 10 minutes, in the meantime heat the tomato sauce with the water and, when it starts to simmer, add the isinglass and leave it to dissolve. Turn off the heat, pour the mixture into the moulds and leave to cool overnight in the fridge (or prepare the mixture in the morning for evening dinner). On the following morning, place the moulds in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes and delicately remove the jellies using a knife around the edge, place them on a plate and garnish with sea salt, ground black pepper and rocket.
